The aim of this study is to reveal the general profile of women entrepreneurs in the central district of Kars. This is the first study conducted in Kars and 21 entrepreneur women in Kars were contacted and analyzed with semi-interview technique. The questions were asked to the entrepreneur women about the formation of business ideas, the problems that emerged after the establishment of the business, the sources of finance, the number of people working in the enterprises, the advantages of entrepreneurship, the characteristics of entrepreneurship and the perspective of the society towards women entrepreneurship. In this context, it has been determined that women entrepreneurs operating in Kars take part as entrepreneurs intensively in restaurants, haberdashery and pastry related fields. Furthermore, it has been reached that the related women entrepreneurs give importance to family relations and they want to be a role model in society. Additionally, they see themselves successful. It has been also determined that they create employment in their enterprises. Finally, it has been seen that they have financial difficulties and they also have difficulties in finding qualified personnel to work.
