The goal of the present study is to findan answer to the question that whether the revolutionary ideology has had an effect on the victory of the Islamic Revolution or not? To do so, use has been made of the historical and analytical-documentary method. Undoubtedly, revolutions try pivoting about a coherent thought and mindset as their support in the creation of change and evolution. This thought and mindset should be capable of elaborating on the existent status and delineating the favorable future and it has to incite a collective rise. Revolutionary ideology is one of the fundamental conditions for the occurrence of revolution and the revolution’s victory can be actualized when this ideology is spread pervasively and coherently amongst the people. The present study’s findings signify that Islamic ideology has acted as the revolution’s propeller in the victory of the Islamic revolution of Iran and, due to its religious and Islamic nature, this ideology could stimulate a collective rise against despotism with its reflections going even beyond the borders. The Islamic revolution’s ideology was actually the harbinger of the religion’s full-scale presence in the society with the leadership and awareness-bestowing of His Highness Imam Khomeini (May Allah consecrate the honorable soil of his tomb) as well as with the pivotality of the mosques and Hosseiniyehs.
