INVESTIGATING THE EFFECT OF EMPLOYEES’ PARTICIPATION ON THEIR CREATIVITY WITH THE MEDIATING ROLE OF ORGANIZATIONAL VOICE

Abstract

The aim of the present study is to investigate the effect of allowing participation of employees on their creativity with the mediating role of organizational voice in Bank Sepah branches in the city of Ardabil. We used the statistical method and the questionnaire tool to achieve this goal. The statistical population of this research consisted of all employees and managers of Bank Sepah branches in the city of Ardabil in 2016. The statistical population number was n=162. The sample size using the wholesome counting sampling method, 162 individuals were selected. We used the standard questionnaire of George (2015) and Johnson (2011). For the assessment of creativity in the form of support for ideas, freedom and independence and resources were set forth. We used SPSS20 and AMOS for data analysis from path analysis tests. The whole questionnaire was made reliable with Chronbach's alpha coefficient of 79%. The results showed that employees’ participation with the mediating role of organizational voice (0.165) had a significant influence on their creativity in Bank Sepah branches in the city of Ardabil (p<0.0000). According to the results obtained via path analysis, the standard coefficient of the relationship between the two variables of staff participation on the staff creativity was 0.48 which is significant; and the standard coefficient of the relationship between the two variables of staff participation on organizational voice was 0.59 which is significant. Also, the standard coefficient of the relationship between the two variables of organizational voice on staff creativity was 0.28 which is significant.
