CYBERLOAFING AS A DEVIANT BEHAVIOR AND ITS RELATIONSHIP WITH ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE: AN EXAMPLE OF A PUBLIC INSTITUTION

ABSTRACT

This research investigates the relationship between organicity level of organizational structure and cyberloafing as a type of deviant workplace behavior. In this context, research was carried out by employees of a public institution that held an intensive computer usage. Data were collected through questionnaires from employees. As a result of the findings of the relationship between organizational structure and two dimensions of cyberloafing behavior it can be seen that serious cyberloafing behavior has relations with organicity level of organizational structure.
