%X In this research paper, the development of the education system in both countries, Britain and Ireland has historically been overlooked, since 2nd World War till 20th century, and the role of the Labour Party in achieving the ground breaking progress of the education system in various sectors, primary, comprehensive, secondary, higher education, universities and vocational educational institutions. Interestingly, the politics of the Labour Party has been highly involved in bringing about outstanding changes; whereas, the Catholic Church was involved in reforming the education sector in Ireland‎‎‎.
