As of its fast-growing feature, consumers, corporations, and governments are now focusing more on the environmental preservation and sustainable development besides commercial and financial standards. By Applying corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the operation of firms in the sector is widely considered an effective tool globally. As such, fully understanding and clarifying these topics could bring enormous support to decision-makers. This paper is a comprehensive literature collection and it addresses three main issues: (1) the elucidate CSR notions and dimensions; (2) CSR impacts on several sectors of hospitality and tourism and (3) recognizing the uses of CSR in Vietnam's hospitality and tourism industry. Based on various studies and their results, several managerial implications will be made.
