N2  - The article evaluates the influence of factors on the quality of economic growth in Southeast Vietnam. The article analyzes 138 observations of 6 localities in the Southeast region of Vietnam in the period 2000 - 2022, cited from three main sources: World Bank (WB), the General Statistics Office (GSO), and the Department of Local Statistics. The author uses quantitative research methods: Pooled OLS, fixed effects model (FEM), and random effects model (REM), and the article uses several tests: Hausman test, Wald test, and Wooldridge test. Besides, the article also uses improved standard errors with the "vce (robust)" option to control the phenomenon of heteroskedasticity and autocorrelation. Research results show that the quality of economic growth in the Southeast region is influenced by six factors: physical capital, labor force, average life expectancy, provincial competitiveness index, value of exported turnover, and value of imported turnover. Research also shows that the six localities of the Southeast region have different unique characteristics, but they do not change over time. The study's findings have implications for Vietnamese policymakers in general and local government agencies of provinces and cities in the Southeast region, in particular, to refer to in order to improve policies appropriately.
